need some peoples opinions at the minute i have a ktag and a mpps v18 but i have noticed it doesnt support as many ecu's as the kess v2 are they stable what are they like

i know ktag is good tool but is kess a good tool is it better than mpps

kess which is much better than mpps because there are not so many errors in the checksum kess is more stable and has a lot better software and supports + cars than mpps

ok both kess and mpps have pros and cons i have used mpps to unbrick cars over the obd port when kess woudnt even communicate with it but kess does have more vehicles then mpps also mpps can read edc16c9 over obd kess can not

my opinion is to have both because mpps can get you out of sh#t lol

is MPPS V18 reading Ford Euro5 EDC16 via obd?
(kess can`t read the later EDC16 E5 cars , only bdm via ktag)

yes it reads ford edc16 over obd also did one awhile back

does vauxhall edc16c9 over obd which kess v2 only writes

its perfect for older cars as some older cars kess has problem with communication

just with both make sure you have over 13v reading and writing when using mpps

kess and k-tag is best tool
mpps 16,18 prove less

bosch, siemens, delco no problem

magnetti marelli ecus is big problem for clone tool

mpps is way better for recovery and mpps can read ecus that kess can not

but like is said both are good in my opinion and you should have both

also while we are on this matter i also have KTMFLASH no longer have to open ecu to get full read so in my opinion this tool is far Superior then ktag
