i read ecu with clone ktag and het error in comunication now car wont start
i do this edc17c59 cuple times before with my ktag but with this one I dont know what go wrong :(

i buy donor ecu all the same
hw and sw all same

bosch number same

how i can clone this ecu ...I don t have backup of old ecu
or immo off is possible on opel edc17c59?

will car start if i replace just eeprom?

This ecu EDC17C59 is very sensitive for programming, have had couple of them damaged. Genuine KTAG can do straight copy<>paste to the another same part number ecu, tested couple times, even Ktag shows "unclonable".
Eeprom you can not swap, because there are no physical external eeprom, it is emulated inside Tricore.
To program another ecu is complicate, because need to use TIS2Web with the special account. Simple ordered online account not let work with IMMO parts(tested as well).
Maybe somebody have IMMO off solution.

i said i do another edc17c59 without problem on ktag clone..i dont know what wrong with this one

Good morning. I have a similar problem. I have a full backup of old ecu.
If I buy an identical ecu, what can I do to use car? Is is sufficient do this?
- Dump of new ecu
- Write old file to the new ecu
If immo problem :
Extract pincode from new ecu
Program immo with op com

Is it right? Urgent

Just copy your full backup file to the second hand identical ecu with genuine tool and all done.
It is impossible to program ecu with op-com. Nothing to do with pin code. It is just online solution with extended account.
