Hi guys,
I have bought a spare edc16u31 from an 2008 A4 B7 BRE 2.0 16v tdi. Today, I was wondering about making it alive on bench, make an immo off via BDM, and put on the shelf as I usually do. I opened the ECU, made a BDM backup, put my immo off files on, and tried with VCDS, but it didnt response.
After that I tried with the original e2prom content, but the situation was the same.
However, I recognized that even tough I can read back exactly the same contect what I writed before, as soon as it gets the current from my DC supply on bench (I guess), the e2prom content changes.
Does anybody know, what would be these changes? I also attached the original BDM read separately.
