As above had a faulty frm2 so used someone i had previously had experience with, replaced frm2 and cloned dflash and eeprom

Still no comms with frm on vehicle and usual faults as before , tested with another frm2 and 3 from donor vehicle and communicates aside from coding issues so its not a wiring issue

So i have read it myself with xprog can someone look at the flash and eeprom and see if software is fixable, i believe it was cloned with UPA in the beginning

2mb flash and 4kb eeprom

For anyone interested you can convert the 2mb xprog file into 256 kb or which ever necessary under the editor tools. So if you get a 2mb flash and new to xprog then don't worry

yes but you still can fix it as frm2 is different from frm3 and frmfa, best option is to get files from a working frm2 with same number and code it with bmw tool

of course frm you have now can have HW error so this is the way to test it...

Also I don't have vehicle only frm with covid 19 lockdown I just thought a problem shared maybe a problem halved. As its been some time.

try these files, same as yours, only window error but this way you can check if you have HW error or not
