Ssangyong Rexton 2005 FUEL GUAGE ISSUE ?

Anyone have issues with the fuel guage on Ssangyong Rexton 2005 ?
sender been replaced by the owner but it's in the cluster
i have limited information on this cluster

If fuel pump sensor is already checked and it has good signal ...then problem is in the cluster, specifically in the fuel stepmotor needle.
remove it from cluster and fix it, it's easier than you think.

the low fuellight still stays on
i would have thought it would go out if the pointer movement was faulty ?
