Ford s max edc17cp42 ktag

Hi, i have a quick question regarding ktag and this ecu. Ktag says the bootd switch must be off on the tricore adapter and shows pic. But my adapter is not a switch it has like a 'jumper' pin so i wanted to know if the jumper pin is connected would that be 'on' and disconnected 'off'?
