Hi,
can you please help. I now have firmware 03L997557P 9982 with Dieselgate. I would like to flash back to the last version before Dieselgate 03L906023ML 9971. I tried to flash with ODIS Engineering 8.1.3 firmware 03L906023ML, but the error is displayed that a "Flashing session" cannot be created. Problem is that after dieselgate update the part number has changed from 03L906023ML to 03L997557P and when flashing the partnumber is checked in the ECU, so flashing original .frf file with ODIS-E is not possible. This is a protection that VW has installed.


Did anyone have the same problem and could solve it?

In fact with diesel gate is before they flashed it
they flashed an anti diesel gate to your ecu
as told before vcp will do the job

Would it work with the older VAG CAN PRO version 5.5.1? Is VAG CAN PRO the same program as VCP CAN PRO?

VAG CAN PRO version 5.5.1 is the china clone, but will do the job...

Did you all downgrade the same part number from 03L997557P to 03L906023ML?
