Hi i need dtc off for polo 1.4 55kw 00562 - G266 sensor ... i try recode dash but without succes... this sensor is not fitted on car because is engine swapped from other 1.4 what dont have this sensor.Or some tips how to simulate this sensor? Thanks :)

thats the oil level sensor are you sure it doeasnt have one it should be on bottom of sump if not you could just plug it back in and zip tie it up somewhere for quick fix? or just get a hair pin and join the connections together on the plug itself

i am 100% this sensor is not on car... because is engine swap from ibiza i dont remember engine code and it hasn't have this sensor... and how i say i try with diagnostic remove this sensor from coding but without succes dont take me to put 0 on chanell 39. I think only way is DTC OFF or simulated him.

what about filling a plastic bag with oil and leaving old sensor in

or can you change sump over so it works

Yeah that's a better idea what meat head said cant you swap the sumps over? Or is the bolt pattern different?

it was engine swap with all wires from donor car .... to this car .... i dont have cable from ecu to sensor ....

Are you using the ecu from the other engine on the donor engine?

So that means you have a dead engine on the floor with 3 spare wires
trace them back to the point where you plugged it in

or can you swap loom and sump over?
