I recently had my battery changed and now my 6000CD RDS E.O.N is asking for a code to be entered. I've noticed from other posts that to get the code I'll need to know the serial number of the unit. Can some one please tell me how to find this information? ie will I need to take the 6000CD unit out and if so how do I do this?

radio undisturbed - without touching any keys. The radio
will eventually reset - allowing you to enter the code.

It can take over an hour for this procedure. Touching
any of the buttons during the process will reset the timer, and the time
delay will start from the beginning.
