Dashcoder4 or enigma?

Guys I am in 2 minds with no idea in which direction I should go.

I have a fully updated Enigma tool. Works great does most cars without any issues. Support is awesome.

But I've been reading about the dashcoder 4.. and it can do a lot by the sounds of it. Can do the Johnson Controls new VAG stuff.. can do merc w213 w205 etc .. can do PSA bsi by obd....

Do I sell my Enigma and buy the dashcoder4

Or do I keep both?

I've spent £10,000 on the enigma over the years and the dashcoder is like £6000.. dont know if I really want ak much money invested in these tools.

Anybody got any advice?

Dashcoder 4/Digiprog 4 is maybe the worst tool on the market for £5K+ range

they sell it because it does "THE NEW MERCS"

a friend of mine only 3/4 months ago put DEF on A8 dashboard, messed up a cas4. there are many bugs in dashcoder

stick with your enigma or buy Smok Full, Smok is king for PSA OBD, enigma is like smelecom, need to remove bsi and do by eeprom

not to mention SMOK will never destroy a BSI OBD unless its user error

Elprosys diagprog4 is choice of 90% professionals...enigma is old hardware device cant do new cars....smok is good and x tool is cheap

i have all devices and agree with gogocro enigma is dead no new updates even x tool have much new software,dashcoder copy dp4 smok is very good but still elprosys is king.

Yes I thus far have done bsi's manually by eepeom. Time consuming but easily done.

Can the dp4 do the new mercs that dashcoder4 promises it can do? Can it do the vag jc clocks?

Seems like dp4 maybe the one.

Yes dp4 will do the new Mercedes w205 w213 w222. I haven’t had any issues with these yet.

Enigma is Very safe to do but not do some new cars... You want buy new or used tools?

I want to buy used tools. Enigma is perfect with what it can do. But I'm finding jobs I'm knocking back due to enigma not having able to do it. Like the new Mercedes and the johnson controls VAG. Such mixed reviews though. Some people hate the dashcoder saying it fails on a lot . Some people say it works fine. I don't know

I work with DashCoder for many years. I am satisfied with the abilities and the support.
Why do you want to buy a used one ? In the final accounting, the softwares are to be more expensive than the one-time purchase of the hardware...

Enigma is more than alive mate haha

Plenty updates released since 06/2020- (about 150 new options loaded into menu, over 100 new PDFs added to connection and pinout base...)

Only pain is that if you dont subscribe you wont get any...

Also there is no ultimate tool on the market...many of them are needed to work professionally...what ones dont do, others do, what ones damage, others fix, once you accept it you gain in health and financial profits hehe

Many of them are good, some are used for one thing, some for another, you can invest, you can have 1 new each month and still you will not be able to do everythig...time flies and tech goes forward in big steps!

Good or best or worth itself tools Enigma, Orange5, Smok, Dc4, ...a lot depends on brands too, AutoHex for BMW, Bmw Explorer too, MbCleaner for Mercedes...

There are tons of tools available, there are also thousands of happy and some unhappy clients all over the world...somea are definitely unhappy all the time hehe
