Good again, I have a query, I am trying to modify the flash of a motronic m7.2 that mounts a 29f200ab but I have reading problems with willen in fact in each reading it generates a different checksum (I have already cleaned the pads perfectly).
I have a 29f400bb that reads it perfectly, my question is if I can write the 256kb file of the 29f200ab in a 29f400bb and how should I do it.
Thank you !

write twice, mean one for frst 256kb and second ,for second part of memory. you have to make the file 512kb size

As the 29f400bb

As the 29f400 has double memory, its has another address line, A17.
If your design used a 29f200, probably that line is unused and left floating.
Check your board. If it's connected to Gnd it's ok.
But if not, that may cause problems. I would put that line to Gnd , that way it would be 100% the same as the 29f200.
