Hello all
Another newbie problem.. I am afraid.
I just patched vodka v.0.0.2 for ipbox9000 on my Cuberevo twin-tuner HD.
I could scan the cable channels, but can not watch anything but FTA.
I FTP'd the Mgcamd 1.33 files, and made sure its config file is where it should be and what it should be as on previous threads on this site.
I still have no joy.. and when I press the blue button,I can not see mgcamd there.

Can anyone help please?

Hi

How do I do that?

you will also need the nagra roms ( do a search on here for magic files "
along with
autoroll.key
autoupdate.key
softcam.key

their should also be a mg_cfg ( thats if you installed the mgcamd config as well as the mgcamd 1.33 )

if you right click on the mg_cfg and choose edit you will need to edit box type part to this for DGS based image. -

# box type
# 00 autodetect, change only if you think wrong type detected.
# 01 dbox2
# 02 dreambox
# 03 triple-dragon
# 04 relook
# 05 openbox
# 12 fortrex (ipboxhd)
B: { 12 } i have known some people to change this to 00

or this for E2 image :-

# box type
# 00 autodetect, change only if you think wrong type detected.
# 01 dbox2
# 02 dreambox
# 03 triple-dragon
# 04 relook
# 05 openbox
# 12 fortrex (ipboxhd)

OK .. Thanks guys..
Now every file transferred is Chmod755.
Files are in the right place.
I installed the mgcamd config as well as the mgcamd 1.33.
mg_cfg file is edited as instructed, and box type is tried on both 00 and 12.

Nothing happened..
and when I press the yellow on the RC, I can see

MultiCas
Newcamd Client
Cccam Client Then it has the following line underneath:

Multicas or NewCamd executting...

Still only FTA, with no change..

Any other ideas?

HURRRAAAHHH

I gave up on that vodka, so with Sifteam latest installed, auto mgcamd installer done, all channels are up and running on uk 6952. Pitty all the sat channels are Russians. It will take a long time to sort the Fav. folder, but that is the least of my worries.

Thanks guys for all the help.

i dont bother with favourites as after time you remember what channels are on what sat.

what do you mean , all russian channels ?

glad you got sorted with mgcamd, i find it stops and starts sometimes, could just be my tuner though.

Somehow when I installed the Auto Mgcamd, it installed saved fav. file that has every Russian channel on the plannet!!!
I wish I can find a file from someone who is watching cable uk 6952 as well as standard sat for the south of England.
I have a motorised dish 1.5 m and am not very much interested in any sats other than between 7 west to 28.2 east.

mgcamd now is very stable and not stopping and starting, follow this and edit yours the same, this is for an E2 image. DGS based images only has 1 difference as explained above.
Thanks to Jamie-warez for this.

Thank you
I have followed that on couple of DGS images, but ended up in severe failure...!!!
It looks like it is very sensitive to the version of CCCamd.
My server uses 2.1.4, and it is, as written in the file, not supported beyond 2.1.1
I just hope there will be a new Mgcamd support for the new Ccamd.

Hi Wahid, I'm new to Cuberevo hd twin cable and am having problems trying to sort-out what I need to do get my box working 'properly' as most posts are for satellite. From reading this thread it appears you have had the same problems but hopefully yours are sorted by now. Based on that assumption could you please simplify what I need to do/download to make it all work, a basics list would be appreciated if possible. I'm on V****n in the north of England on uk 6952 and as you can tell, a little basic with my knowledge of the subject.
