Hi all
A friend of mines got a Eurovox which he plugs into his virgin media coax giving him ALL the channels for free. Only problem is he didn't set it up so he can't explain the process to me.
I have a Virgin Media connection in my flat and want to buy a box but need some advice
1) Which box do i buy and is there a specific model ( prob stick to Eurovox just as my friend has one )
2) Do i have to download any software to install on the box or do they come 'cracked' straight out the box?
3) If so how do i install the software?
Thanks in advance :wavey:

Get a kryptview tommy.. TMC sells em at a good price and they're setup ready to go. pop in your cable area network and scan that's it.. plus loads of updates and lots of people to help you on here with them. If you have a decent signal these boxes are the best esp' if you just want to watch tv without having to mess with it.
Regards.

Are you saying that Krpytview arrives, I get it out of the box, plug in the cable lead, press scan and thats it? All channels? Without flashing?

I was looking to buy a receiver but now I'm totally confused after reading these posts. some of you refer to the boxes being no use soon, why is that? and which way would you suggest I go? Bear in mind I'm a total novice
