Key learn ID88 MEGAMOS AES 5k0 837 202 BH PQ Cars

Hey,
i have a 2018 Beetle Cab and lost one Key.

The orginal Key Partnumber is:
5k0 837 202 BH
VVDI2 detects the Transponder as MEGAMOS AES

I ordered a new orginal 5k0 837 202 BH Key with a new ID48 but than realized that ID48 cant be converted to ID88.

The Remote is already working and there is no aftermarket Key....

I have an VVDI2 but havent found a Megamos AES Transponder.

Many People mentioned that its possible to buy ID88 PQ Version Key like the 5k0 837 202 BH on chinese Website
but i couldnt find.

Does somebody have a idea what i could do?
Except to go to the vw dealer as i already have a working remote...

Are you sure that there exist tool that can Programm this beetle immo? I tried but was not working with avdi vvdi

Treid to make a T6 2018 with HU66 blade, there was a aes inside. remote works, so i ordered this chip. wanna test it, but the customer did not call back. think people dont want to pay the extra 60€ for chip and pin code tokens for zedfull.

For T6 it is easy to convert cluster to use ID48, then you can easily replace the transponder in all remotes.
For Beetle I'm not sure that's possible without downgrading (or replacing) cluster.

True have to remove dash to program key.

Tried with VVDI and AVDI OBD.

Dealer wouldn't pay extra for my time so walked away

BH key is detect MQB - AES - what ever , Xhorse Smart key working good

The thing is there is a Glass chip for AES transponder,other day I have chance to see it in Tiguan, car came with 2 remote keys and one regular key with Glass chip in it .
So why no one can sell class chip?

Yes same case on IBIZA 2015 , car have just one MQB single key ( no remote ) , i have programmed golf 7 remote key ( remote work directly ) , no need to change config of dashboard

Correct many 2016 + models like Tiguan, Jetta and etc has AES key but not MQB, still PQ models. So glass chip exist .

cars after 2019 with immo coding - remote adaptation via Key Learn - no point add simple megamos chgip, as you can not lear any more remote
remote is learn to BCM directly while key learn - like in MQB

I am talking for cars with none keyless ,There is many of them . Also in area where Internet is not available , So at least you can drive car to the point where can be done Online.

not have my KT with me, in APP it call MQB 4.5
In desctription you can see feedback from customer - caddy 2017...etc

But if customer has key that is working , then you have to mess with his original key , Why would you spend time for that , and even worst if customer is front of you looking that you opening his original key .
For me that is not good solution at all .
Why not make it to be done correct way. If SMOK did it , why X-Horse can not do it ??????

If more people Agree with this maybe X-Horese will do it very quick.

Found this with 2019 T6. Some point crossover

Tool talks to remote system but did nothing. Pain in the bum as need whole key

Yes but they are Expensive $15-$20. If VVDI2 makes that you can prepare Id48 to AES , then it will cost $1-$2. Like I mention SMOK already has it , Why not VVDI2?

What's concerning -
1) have to open original key to change to ID48
2) changing Config will surely cause headache at dealership?

I charge a decent amount so $20 is chicken feed :)

In this case it is better to buy SMOK key maker and it will pay off after 20-25 keys .Or just wait till VVDI make it happen.
