Hi,
I try to remove DPF from BMW E60 525d 130kw. It is a EDC16C31.
In the Tool DPF Remover 2017.05 I can choose between these two ECUs:
EDC16C31 Type1 (1MB)
EDC16C31 Type2 (1MB)
How do I know which one is correct for my ECU?
Here is the ID I read out with Kess:
HW: 0281011120SW: 1037390905
VIN nr.: WBANC51050B121097
SW ver.:
Spare:
Engine:
HW Ver.:
SW upg.: 07812334
Also I read about it is neccessary to reset the dpf with ori file before writing mod file. Do I need to do this?
