Motronic 5.2 cloning [Sitemap]

I have a damaged motronic 5.2 0261203667 its not possible to connect to ecu and even it does not have any power consumption on bench. I have a spare ecu and would like to clone it. Both have cc460 mcu. So my question is can I simply put cc460 from old to "new"? As far as I know immo data should be there.

yes.......but dont heat up to much this cc460 dont like much heat.

But would prefer reading by adapter and via batronix programmer :).
Also there is no need of cloning because ews 2... :) easy sync.

NO.

Resurrecting old thread for information updating purposes.

IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO JUST SWAP THE CC460 CHIP FOR DME CLONING. THE REPLACEMENT DME WILL JUST NOT ACCEPT THE CC460 CHIP. THEY ARE NOT INTERCHANGEABLE.

It is and done several times by myself...
If you would be able to use google you also will find other guys in other forums which done it.
Also Fullread availiable for it by diagnostic line with the correct tools without desoldering (for clone need soldering job because AEFI section isnt written).

Can you please show me? I've spent countless hours searching google and countless hours messing with these DMEs and have found no concrete information.

here file read by diagnose ;). its M44.. but also done for m62. Also for both m5.2 immo off in file doneable.
Just if you dont solve it didnt mean it isnt solveable.
