Hello Guys, W220

2155450008 eis 2x 1d69j inside.

Remote ok, ign Comes on.
Not start car.
New key, that i created did not turn ign.
Needed tot activated new key first, then ign on, not start.

Star diagnostic: no respons mcu2.
(Swapped it with a secondhand eis, star diagnostic: mcu2 fine?)

I opened eis, looks fine.
Any common problems with these?

Greetings Rob

Dry joint - heat with hot air and will work for some time

Apply some flux with brush and hot air that is better.

So a overall hot air resoldering, or just around out the mcu2?

No start means not cranking or Not cranking?

Around MCU is enough. I don't remember if 220 has ribbon cable like as 210.

If there are ribbon cable, rosolder with iron tip.

Had one of those give me no end of trouble, where it wouldn't crank, even though everything matched in the DAS modules, only to finally realize that a resistor close to one of the mcus was missing. Also inspect the flex pcb connections, close to the mcu.

You also could have other problems then EZS, like bad Starter, no signal to starter.
It will be good to try to start direct at starter and see what happens.

Inspected ezs again, no visual problems or pieces missing.
I warmed up the mcu s in stages,
Pressed the components and ribbon
Diagnostic, no changes, and still no crank.

Programmed a different ezs, and car is fine now. So the car is fine itself.
So i am nothing yet giving up, on trying to find the exact problem with the org eis.

Did not resoldered anything yet, will see what owner wants to do with this car.
I want to spend some more time, with the old eis, and learn from it.

Thank you guys,
