Hi guys? I have 600 Euros to spend on a new TV? My question is for this price range can I get a good HD/LCD 32 inch or more for this price relatively speaking and what are the best brands to go for, I recently bought a Nintendo Wii also so I'm looking for something that is good with the console as well as providing good features for all the soccer matches and live sports? Is there a certain spec out there that is better than the rest and what are most important things to look for Id imagine a Sony, LG, Samsung or philips are the way to go as they have good brand quality but the likes of Good mans and Wharfdale I think thats how you spell it? These come cheaper but does this really denote a difference in quality and are you just paying extra for a brand? Thanks any help or guidance is appreciated?:dontknow:

I think you should be able to get a good 32" HD LCD for that price no probs.

Pioneer and Panasonic are your top manufacturers and you'll pay a little extra for those. Samsung, Sony, LG, Toshiba, etc. they're all good makes. To be honest, the tv market is not what it used to be, most tvs are pretty much equal these days. The Pioneer and Panasonic have better video processing units in them which give them better picture quality over the rest but picture quality is in the eye of the beholder. :) With the right brightness/contrast/colour settings, etc. you can get great picture quality on any tv.

Here's a good site to check out - 32" LCD TV's - Compare the Best UK Prices - Page 1 (http://www.offeroftheday.co.uk/best-offers/133/lcd-tv-32in)

Good Luck.

Whatever model you like, see if John Lewis do it. They offer a 5 year warranty and will price match any high street store (not online shop).
