Greetings everyone, I need a new tool for mostly corrections but not limited to just that. I've had experience with the DSPIII and it was great. A friend recently bought a Digimaster and I've used it too. I've also watch my friend use it and we both had problems with many eeproms but I've never used it over OBD. My Digiprog3 recently stopped booting after a USB/PC/ wrong software issue. So I'm using my backup Digiprog3 with no FTDI/ USB support. I have an e-bay CarProg and Xprog but keeping up with usb dongles and dealing with hacked software is not what I want.
I need something that is affordable like the Digimaster, do newer autos and have pictures like the DSPIII. PC based software is not a problem. I've seen some good info on the UPA USB Serial Progrommer but not much about it's software or support.
Any ideas on where my money would be best spend would be most helpful. Thank You.
