View Full Version : Marelli 6O3 ECU not identified

Hello,

When i plug KTAG on my Marelli ECU, software says ECU not identified, it can dump only EEPROM and MPC only.
I recover this ECU and doesn't start the car, so i check before electronic parts, all wires are OK, then i plug with Ktag and i get error "ECU not identified", i force with Ksuite and dump only EEPROM and MPC, flash doesn't succedd that's why i suppose its flash dead.

Flash M58BW016DB80T3F is dead or not?
I didn't know what is the link of "ECU not identified" and flash M58?

Option backup pass the first step to "identify ECU", it's failed.

Yes i desolder, check connections.

You have solder the wires or use bdm adapter?

Have any pic of your connections?

BDM adapter with Ktag.

I suspect because the BDM in that ecu is small, you had bad contact, I had that issue with bad contact, ktag gives totally wrong file....

Try again and inspect well the contracts from adapter to bdm......

If it problem of contacts, you cannot dump EEPROM and MPC, it's not my case.

are you sure you have read the correct files from ecu? Have you read it twice and compare it? Is this ecu ok? car start with it? Have you look for full BDM according your numbers to compare?

Yes i read twice and compare. It's the same datas.

As i say, i recover this ECU, my car doesn't start. That's why i investigate.
I don't have the full BDM to compare.
