Hello everyone, trying to swap a bmw dme mss65 on a 2005 bmw m5. i had a used unit, good working and communication ok. i copied the original data and wrote over the used one. now, the used has no comm. i install the original unit and i have a communication. i tried second time, this time i erased the mpc and flash before writing, again no luck. i am doing both sides, both MCUs. posting my files. thank you in advance

Right MPC is ok, Left MPC has some slight changes, maybe poor connections.
The two flash files are both missing some areas on the second try.
If you need to compare files to make sure, you can let winrar check!

i don’t know why, the left side mcu is giving me VERIFY ERROR, I am using my second xprog. Different unit. If I get another used unit, what’s my options to make it work in this car? Thank you

I believe MSS65 is EWS3, so two byte ISN and rolling code. It should be possible to read the ISN and change in the CAS if you have R270 or if your Xprog is OK with CAS reading/writing.
Other options might be try BDM100 or another tool with BDM capability.

It’s a cas, not an ews

There is MSS60 and MSS65 with one processor locked... they cant be read and so dont be cloned.
Only few once of first building years can be read, write.

You can read but there is no data. This ecus cant be cloned :8.
Seperate data fram CAS or EWS Modul and Sync with this.
