VW JETTA 2012 ECU SWAP STICK SHIFT

Hello everyone, trying to swap a ME17.5 on a jetta, the car is stick shift and the ME i have found is auto transmission. and i can not pull any data out of the original ecu. the original part number is 07K906055N, and the used ecu is xxxxx055G, It is a ME17.5.6 WIll this work and if so, how can i change the from auto to stick, if it is possible. thank you guys

I always focus only on HW
after adapt and flash with proper SGO/FRF file, and recode.
Mostly DSG can be recode to manual, not always manual can be recode to DSG, need update first

thank you, can you explain more about the SGO/FRF file? how and where can i get the these files and coding how is it done? i am kind of new to this type of issue. thank you in advance
