Ecu swap Bmw e36 318i 0261203278

Hi guys,

I’ve got a ecu to swap on a bmw 318i convertible ‘95.
I have old damaged ecu which injector feed is shorted out.
And I have a used replacement ecu with all the same numbers.

I have been looking for immo off solution but that’s hard to find and maybe not possible?

I think I have these options:
- sync ews and ecu but don’t know yet with what tools that’s possible?
-swap flash from one to the other ecu.
-make ecu virgin.

Why is best way to swap ecu?

Immo off is possbile.
For you... just swap eprom :D (27C256) and be done. Max need sync ews+ecu with inpa.

repair it, injector feed is probably darlington driver on 1 of the heatsinks, trace pin and you find it

This type ecu doesn’t have the 27c256 eprom. Already tried to go that way, no succes..

I have searched on the pcb for burns and odd spots but nothing to see.

What can I look for at heatsinks?

This type ecu doesn’t have the 27c256 eprom. Already tried to go that way, no succes..
Sure it got... lift the white bracket... there it is, 32kb read... DIP28 eprom (Number on Sticker start with 1267....) . There is all immo data inside the eprom. I done several of em also ews delete without emulator.

you will not see visual damage on them..

take off clips and make measurements with DMM, 1 of them will give other value
