Hello i have a E71 X6 2008 35i, What is the best way to check what ECU i have without opening it up?

Im gonna try to read it with Kess. And under E71 there is only 2009 MSD81.

If i use autodetect ECU with FVDI bmw clone it says MSD80. I have Inpa + ista. Is there a way to check in those programs?

Thanks in advance.

you can check through INPA. Just go to engine and find ZUSB number. Then you can check in C:\EC-APPS\NFS\Data"ecu_folder" find .dat or .his file (not sure now) and you can check if your zusb is in the list.

If you have only inpa without winkfp and so you will not have that folder in your PC. In that case just type your zusb here I can check for you.
