Megamos Crypt Id48 test crypt key

I have tried to make a key for volvo with carprog. But i dont trust my carprog. Reading is fine but not writing...

If i make some test with carprog. I write after KEY : 10 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 and check with FVDi if crypt key is ok i get negative result.
If i write with FVDi or effi and check i get positive result.

Carprog finds Crypt Key for Cem flash OK (i think) and ads ID for Key in flash OK but dont write crypt in key OK.
I have located crypt key and IDs for key in flash and it looks right.

My question now is. Is it just for me to write crypt key with FVDi instead, just like carprog finds it from flash, and it will start?

For ex.
Crypto Key

(11 22) (33 44) (55 66) (77 88) (99 AA) (BB CC)
--PG9____..._____..._____..._____...____PG4--


I tried that but it didnt start, thats why im asking this :)

have you connected the power supply for transponder write?...sometimes without a power supply even the reading is unstable.

Main question is, if it should be working the way i try to explain, write with tagtool or Effi instead ?
Or if FVDi/tagtool should be able to check known crypto key?

0xAA = 0xAA, 0x66=0x66 etc. but these are special cases.

What is Volvo? Do you have the immo reading where the crypto information of the keys goes?

In this case its Volvo V70 around 2002 or something.

Yes i have the crypto key from Cem flash.

Afaik only thing to do is add key ID from key in flash and write crypto key from flash in key, i dont need to care about usermemory?

It is a 28F400 the one that brings that model?


If the transponder you want to add is original, write the ID in the flash ... if you have a tp with an editable id, you can edit it with an id known by the immo
