Hi guys.

I have a 2019 VW GTI with a simos 18.10 ecu.

Unfortunately the ecu had a voltage spike and is now dead, I can source a used ECU but will need to adapt it to my car, can this be done offline with ODIS E or do I need to go to the dealer?
The other issue is the car has a software ECU tune, are any of you guys able to recover this and flash it over to the new ecu?

Many thanks

Hi guys, I have another question.

I purchased a Used simos 18.10 ecu that cam from a Seat, a guy came with Odis online and couldn't do it, said it can't be reprogrammed to VW spec.

Is this correct or is someone able to do it for me?

I'm not a Simos 18 specialist. It's a very, very complex ECU. But if there is an area with maps in the processor, it might be possible to use BGA to replace the processor from the old to the new unit. Maybe it would work.

Hi all. can't swap tricore because it's works with the SC9 PMU and others things.. ive tried BGA reballing with no ecu communication (no power on at al TIC chips).
