Egr valve cleaner Vauxhall Corsa d 1.3cdti

Cannot remove the egr valve on this car , have heard that can be done by valve cleaning spray ? If so any one tried this. Also where to spray into air take to avoid sprayong, Mas filter and damaging intercooler, all info much appreciated , thanks.
