EDC17CP20 Clone

Hello,

Need to clone VAG EDC17CP20 ECU 076906022P.

I read original ECU all three memory areas, eeprom, internal and external flash. However only eeprom and external flash possible to write back to new ECU.

By writing an internal flash I got a protection error. OTP Sector not writeable. I think this is common problem with the Infineon Tricore.

So, is it possible to start car just writing EEPROM and external memory? Or what would be the best solution for immo off or any possibility to bypass OTP protection.

Post Bosch part numbers from both ecus..?
Or they same....?

Post both Original and donor dumps

Yes, both are the same part numbers Bosch 0 281 016 819 and VAG nro. 076 906 022 P.

I tested this solution today and it looks good. Car started ok, expet that I still have problem that ECU dies after it warm up.

are they DTC´s stored and or present...?

No any DTC because not able to communicate with the ECU after it dies, problem seems to be related to flash memory.

Problem solved. Just have to program ext. flash again.
