I tried an old trick with this radio and it worked.
Erase all eeprom contain and no code.There is also no code if eeprom is removed. :peaceful:

It's not good to blank eeprom, you will loose all the operating and calibration data. Best is to change 055h to (00) for code off.
Hold down FM and 6 button while connecting power for service mode.
