Have a volvo V50 T5 that after 5 mins of running develops random faults along with ecu memory fault.
I got a replacement ECU, but the Original I cannot get a read from it via KTAG or Fgtech via BDM, replacement ECU reads and writes fine.
So im guessing a fault with the ecu has been the cause.
Regarding Immobilser, As i cant get a dump from Original ECU is there any other way i can get the immob sorted, i.e. any IC's that can be swapped??

Cheers

Is the pin not in the cluster as well? That is the pin you need and the PIN for the "new" ECU.

Just a FYI on anyone with bosch me9.0 (focus ST, Rs, Volvo T5) not to sure on the ME9.0c BUT its just a matter
of swapping the 95080 nearest the top siemens style bdm pads, not need to go to other side of PCB, just swap
with donor ECU

Thanks for the info, I bricked a Focus ST ME9.0C and couldn't read in BDM so I got another used ecu 0261209048 and just swapped 95080 eeprom and it started okay thanks

For my expierence this didnt worked. Also inside the flash is the VIN (but sometimes inside ST I dont see a VIN in flash, just in RS?!)

Some ecus, have synch.
Swapping eeprom is ok, but always use the last eeprom, you plugged in.

Whenever i clone Ford/Volvo ecus, i keep the old ecu.
Until the car runs well.

Online, using secondhand Ford ecu, is possible.
Volvo, we always swapp eeprom and flash.
