Hi all,

I have a DM500. 1 dish, 3 LNB (HB13, Astra 19.2, Astra2 28.2) with a diseqc switch 4 in 1.

I am trying to get the right setup in the setting but cannot achieve it.
I put LNB0 for Hb13, LNB1 for astra 19, LNB2 for Astra 28. Diseqc 1.0
Diseqc 1 for HB13, Diseqc2 for Astra19, diseqc3 for Astra28.... I can only achieve to lock HB.

Strange..... Any help ?

I have checked my LNB > Okay
The dideqc switch, okay
Allignement, okay

Setting,

Using LNB0 for HB, LNB1 for Astra 19, LNB2 for Astra2
LOF/H 10750, LOF/L 09750, threshold 11700
Diseqc 1.0
AA for LNB0
AB for LNB1
BA for LNB2

Hbird locked ok
Astra 19, lock on some transpodeur
Astra 29, cannot lock

Thanks for your help

No further advices ???

I might think the tunner of my clone is a poor built. Dish might be a bit short to get astra2 (80cm - Lat 43.6 North - long 3.88 East).

Any help appreciated :beerglass:

I've read on another forum that some LNB's "lock" if you can turn the box off & this resolves the problem then the most likely cause is your choice of LNB or switch.

Text from another Forum.

"I had similar problems with my DB7020 with various disecq switches a while back. I cant give you an exact explanation, but it seemed one particular lnb "trapped" the switch and refused to let go of it. Therefore when you switched satellites I got the dreaded "no signal" The only way around it for me at the time was to switch off and restart the box, setting the startup channel onto one of the unaffected lnb's. The switch wasnt at fault - an lnb swap sorted it out for me..

It might be worth swapping the lnb's around to see if you have a similar problem.

Ive seen this odd behaviour with a couple of lnb's (different manufacturers) now so its not unique, but Ive never been able to find a reason why it was happening."

Hope this helps

Thanks m8. Got arround every step. Think my dish might be undersized to get astra28 (i got it with my Golden interstar though). Think the poor quality built tunner of my clone is to blame.

Yeah an 80cm dish for your region of France might be pushing it, why dont you update your satellites xml here
