Help 93c56 eeprom needed

I needed a new replacement 93c56 for a Siemens 5ws40107e-t,
broke Vcc leg off after reprogramming. :banghead:

I removed the 93c56 eeprom from ecu and read , programmed with otocheck V2.

Then managed to snap Vcc leg of eeprom.

so need a new one,

eeprom looks to be an ST 93c56 ,5volt , MN= S08, 3=temp -40 to 125 c

well as best I can make out.

Is your Component in a really hot place mate ....? I don't think a few degees will mater much ... Farnells .. or RS .. would be my option ....

83c is fcukin hot mate .....

I am just being a wimp , 3= automotiive temp range (-40 to 125c)
6 = industrial temp range (-40 to 85c)

40c is a big diff, but never having tested temp of a ecu I do not know what temp they can get to.
Farnell only have upto 85c and RS have no S08

If not do not know how to find and where a new EEPROM, restore the old.Carefully remove ( little bit )black plastic around broken leg and and solder wire.

Listen mate ... Get any eeprom....and program it .... so it may only last ten years ..instead of twenty.... But it will work .. all this pissin about for a 50 cent eeprom .... :giveup:

Do you replace the tyres on your car with the very same make (please don't say yes)... but they still keep the metal wheel off the road ....it's the same thing ......
