hi everyone. i'm complete novice tuner when it comes to an ecu. i've always been old school, camshafts, carb jets and manual actuators are easy but an old dog needs to learn new tricks. i have a 2007 cooper s so i thought id give it a try. took the original file and played with it a little on ECM titanium. played with the spark, upped the boost a little. its a shit load faster but i'm running about 10* hotter and i think the exhaust is hotter still. i'm sure i'm hearing a little detonation under hard acceleration in 2nd gear too even though its always running on premium fuel. any advice is really appreciated, thanks everyone.
