Hi all

this is a bit of a long read but I'm at ends wits with this car its a 2007 Opel Astra 1.9cdti 110kw version. the ECU failed a few months back and i needed to replace it as the edc16c39 ECU is quite difficult to find in my country I managed to get one after 2 months of searching

Old ecu : bosch edc16c39 code 55201792
new ecu : bosch edc16c39 code 55205624

i fitted the new ecu and coded using opcom the car starts up but doesnt want to rev up if i remove the MAF the car revs im smoothly(bought a new maf but the car still doesnt rev up)

there are no error codes stored i do notice though that the MAF readings show -24kg on idle.

i have cleaned EGR and checked swirl flaps

any help would be appreciated

could the issue be related to the map on the new ecu as it came of a zafira not a astra ill attach both file if this helps

Could be that some astras have a single fuel rail sensor and others a twin fuel rail sensor....seen this a few times.
