Hello guys,
I hope you are all doing good.
I have 2 questions.
1)For vw Passat B6 mileage correction, I do not have any proper Obd2 tools. I just have VVDI2, I heard that VVDI2 is not reliable on mileage correction. Is this correct?
2) I will read the Engine Control unit(ecu) and correct the mileage there. Will the instrument cluster show the corrected mileage when I just change the mileage on ECU?

best regards

Vvdi2 works good by obd.
Need mileage just in the cluster

Sure it's work with edc16.
But what about edc17 (14,44,46....) and PCR 2.1.....??734888

Thanks for the replies. So you are basicly saying that in my situation I can correct the mileage on cluster with either VVDI2 (obd) or reading&writing the engine unit. If I do the second option, the instrument cluster will show the corrected mileage.

thank you for your time.
