If its from a V/hall mate .... it don't have a code ....sorry..

Just noticed the GM ... It's coded to the display of the original vehicle ... and the display is coded to the vehicle ...

the way i understand it, all you do with these is "divorce" the CD30 from the car correctly using vx specific diagnostic equipment, then when installing it into the new car use the security for the vehicle it is going into, not the one it came out of, hence no need for a security code for the unit, only the one for the car.

Its the pin number that's linked mate ....The pin number for the vehicle IS in the radio..and the Display.....

What are you trying to do my friend!!??
Are you put other radio on your car ?
You want adapt?
You need to marryed radio/display and VIN also.

If I were to disconnect battery, of say Vaux Corsa, with
original CD30 installed. Will that unit request a code on power up?

OR, will it work in the same way .. as many of the VIN coded Peugeot Clarions, and just automatically activate.

If it does request a code, do I understand correctly, that will
be the immo code?

CD30 on VX does not ask any codes after battery OFF. It will work fine after battary ON again. CD30, CD30MP3, CD40, CD70 ... they do not have any codes. They are "married" to the car.
