Correction for GMC Sierra with 95080

Original mileage should be 145,865 miles. This replacement currently has 229899 miles.

Well, they didn't give me any original hours and there is no display for it on the cluster so I am not super concerned about it honestly.





What is actual mileage address in this cluster? I am not too familiar with its layout. is it just 5A 60 or is it 46 5A 60?


I was Thinking (5A 60) was mileage and (46) was a checksum (original hex: 5A 60 00 00 00 FF 00 46 5A 60 00 00 00 FF 00 46)
because numbers matched with: 5A 60>Dec>x16>Km>M with 46 being a valid checksum of 5A 60

but My first attempt resulted in 191xxx miles:
39 50 00 00 00 FF 00 77 39 50 00 00 00 FF 00 77

Well, I can get it to show 146042 miles (35 3D) which is close enough for me but I am still curious what the (46) is? Seems changing it doesn't effect anything (on bench anyway)
