Hi do you mean he has deleted var/keys folder or just keylist.txt if it,s keylist text no big deal when your box auto updates it creates itself

hi guys i just updated my mates box from dw image to dk v1.1 to do a manual key update and came to go onto tuxbox and my keys folder has dissapeared completly. would anyone be able to send me a keys folder so i can ftp it please.

Hi, sorry, i just started a new thread dealing with the same topic.
i did not notice this one.Must look before jumping in next time!
basically i am in the same boat as you all.
Just powered up my box after 10 months of inactivity, to find the above.
I have the new keys but i am not sure how to enter them. i need a sample or template. is it the same format as in softcam.key ?

actually. i've sorted it now

downloaded the file here:
http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/f35/auto-ftp-updater-13798/

and it autogenerates the file and puts it in the directory for you,
input the ipaddress of the dbox, user:root pass:dbox and 3 clicks later it was all working

....edit: my dbox is on my home network, you need your computer connected to it in some way

me too. But I genrated file with 0000000 and edited with right key.

Do google search for thechatterbox.cc toolbar and install it. It has everything from images to key updates.

I manually put the keys in to the tuxbox commander, but whenever there is an update or i wipe the keys and reboot the dbox, no keys appear either right or wrong, why aren't any keys appearing at all???

Thank you again desikaka, i've got mine up and running now on the blade trinity v2 image. And then copying the new nagra rom 7 from the chatterbox toolbar.

i just reflashed adromeda image and the keylist.text is empty i have tried to manual input from keymaster but wont work .how do i input the commands?
