The ELV i have has electric button on top, is there any guide to how to remove the gear knob because the kits I see dont have gear knob with them so must be some trick to it, and shouldn't be a wire or anything inside the metal for the button or I'm wrong ? ��

Sorry for the bump of thread but need to order the kit but worried about the electric button on the gear knob. Don't find any info online on how to remove the gear knob itself, have tried twisting and pulling with no success and afraid might be a wire for the button somewhere.
