Been looking around but have not found any information. Maybe someone can help me ?
I have a honda KB1 with working keys but I am planing to replace the ignition, keyless receiver unit with a JDM variant unit. Reason is it is a full keyless solution.
I have all the RF antennas, door-handles, wiring, card reader etc. The system does not have a key but a keycard that you insert to a slot and the IMMO chip is read from the card.
Now my question is do i need a blank IMMO chip or can i reprogram the used JDM keycard to my ECU ?
