Hi guys very new to this but not so much to the world of electronics.
some guidance would be awesome as im looking to learn from this experience.

I have a 2008 santa fe diesel 2.2 crdi Auto
im using what i believe is a FGTECH GALLETTO 4 (possibly a clone with how inexpensive it was)

ive cracked open the ECU and soldered directly to the pads and followed all the galletto instructions and have successfully got a good read.

as far as maps go i dont understand anything.

i managed to open the file with profesional dpf remover and profesional egr remover both with allow me to save new output files.

both programs say something about the checksum?
random information when i managed to open file in winols it says some checksums need to be repaird.

at this point i dont know if ive done what im doing correctly. if i need to swap sections of map out for one that isnt stuck in permenent regen or what ???
id love to learn. pm me if you need to
am i using the right software ? if not what do i need to get ?

im using a combination of windows xp and windows 7

sorry if ive posted this in the wrong place. i promise i have tried looking through forums but just cant find anything that really guides through the process from a to z
