Good evening, a friend of mine had a stupid accident with his car( VW passat B5.5) and only the left side curtain airbag deployed. It has been long time i had to change airbags on Vw group, i used to change dashboards, driver airbag, after fitting the new airbag , i just had to clear the fault and all worked OK, maybe it-s just a silly question- do i need to change the airbag sensor on the pillar? Do i need to reset crash data on Airbag ECU, do i need a new Airbag ECU? many thanks! like i said i-m only trying to help a friend.
