Clio IV 2017 AKL, Zed-Full and R.E.T fail

I have Clio IV 2017 non hands free AKL. I read HFM dump and try with Zed-Full and Renault Ecu Tool but both fail to learn card.

In step where learning begins, both tools say 'wrong transponder (Zed) / Error Card Locked (R.E.T)'

I have 4 genuine brand new cards and tried with every single one.

Anyone had problems with these? I thought those tools are reliable as most people use RET for this kind of job and Zed-Full was actually the first who developed AKL function for these 2015+

I already used 2 card from same delivery on Captur and Clio and everything worked fine so I don't think it's card problem. I just reminded myself that 3 cards are brand new genuine and 1 is OEM second hand ulocked by me it with KD-X2 but same problem. Later on I also unlocked with with miraclone device and still no luck. I'm stuck.

very strange situation , i never had any problem with 2016+Clio 4 , for you PIN code is OK ( gaining security access ....OK ) .

You can test Lonsdor with inside HFM d-flash in customers file , i never use this R.E.T function ( i systematically refuse on table work ... LOST OF TIME = lost money ) .

Had an akl job on 2018 or 19 clio IV few months ago just had to read hfm with Abprog and then learning with avdi

P1et, You use Hitag AES card or PCF7952? Meybe wrong card type?

Of course I use Hitag AES 4A card. Only difference is that I try program HF cards with 7953 and this Clio use standard cards without HF.

I think kdx2 files for unlock aes cards are not good. Once i unlock them with kdx2 and card status was unlocked, but on programming was "error card locked". And yeah HF cards program no problem with non HF system. Maybe card reader deffective?

Just tried programming PCF7939 and I get 'error card from other car'

Here is picture from learning process of trying:

1) programming new genuine (apparently precoded before actual learning process) card twice
2) programming PCF7939 (precoded or not same thing 'error card from other car'
3) programming new genuine key by skipping precoding step
4) again trying programming new genuine precoded

I gave up in this... :confusion:

For Megane 3 without handsfree the HF card working good, for Megane 2 with handsfree also working good the simple card(without HF), need to put the card in the reader

I know this but I don't like this method. Imagine if I had problem with card precoding, then I would leave the car with HFM virginized. Because to re-leran HFM you need working or properly precoded key.

Zed-Full newest update seems best option but still old method should work. If I have HFM dump, it's all I need and people do this like that by Zed and RET so I don't know what the problem is...

Genuine virgin card ( from dealer are 100% locked to the car : NEVER USE this one ) ??????

1) Normal situation
2) PCF7939 is no detected = Normal situation
3) Normal situation = process need to read IDE of BLANK CARD ONLY before program it
4) Normal situation

before programming key , use VVDI Key Tool to read state of them ! if tool say BLANK you can .... ( or use lonsdor function to read card ) post here the result of reading

Thx mate, I wasn't aware SMOK have solution for these! I see this is kinda fresh as released at the end of July. Gonna consider buying UHS with some licenses.

On Clio 2017 zedfull with new update leave car with 0 key. Smart pro program new key on 1 min. Very easy and fast.

Is this for lost keys or additional key.

The time I use the smart pro the car have 0 key on memory but I have 1 original card. The smart pro asked me if I have working precoded card or no? I select I have precode key and I use as first card the original card.

On 1 min? Also I think do it as lost key very fast. I don't like smart pro but on renault I believe now is the best tool. What tool can do new twingo lost key or add on 3 min?

Have you tried disconnecting battery than reconnecting and try again and lastly
Have you got good battery support and lastly what software version did you try with renault ecu tool .

The best is read hfm module by programmer and make backup of the data!

or when you try to add card: if you can’t read pin/isk then stop! You need use programmer for safety.

but what’s the problem to make BACKUP?
I still recommend to use RET never leave me in shit,
