Try to add,don't erase old keys,in that case you'll need 2 transpondersYes, its true. I had Ford Mondeo from 2002 in AKL situation. Only Add key with Zed Full and was done well. I think old SBB its ok for this type of car. Choose the right transponder.

Many tools can do this old car but very true some tools are struggling with it.
Forscan,tdb,true code..no problems.
If is failing usually a bad transponder.

I have vvdi key tool programmer, it's EU model. Thx for helpVvdi keytool is good for cloning but in in AKL situation can not help you

If AKL add does not work because no programmed key available. Need to erase and program min 2 transponders. For this car it is usually 4d63 40 bit. Do not try 80 bit because will not work and Forscan will still say the key is programmed.
