Hi guys been attempting to read the E57 clusters M35080 onboard with xprog as i have seen the clocks were a b*** to remove (i knew about the risks).
Long story short, reading failed, cluster display and clocks are now also f****.

Managed to dismantle the cluster and remove the M35080 to read it with upa, Attached is the dump. im suspecting this dump is corrupted. could someone please confirm or provide a good dump?

This new clusters mileage is (or at least was) 242,250mi whiles I needed to set it to 117,000 as the original one that was on the car.

Thank you friends. Looks like data was ok. Found out that one of the 1k res i connected xprog too was burnt and went open circuit.

Im attaching a photo maybe this might help someone else. See the temporary smaller 1k res which was replaced.

Thanks again for your support.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20201006/81073c688e9497c1d231e7bdaace8d08.jpg

long story , short this used to be a common problem on 5/ range rover dashes when read from behind , displacing resistors or screwing them up , a little bit more info at the beginning about how you tried to read it and the fault as in clocks ,not working display blank no needles etc may have got you the answer quicker.

glad you sorted in the end , all well etc.

yeap thats the fault decribed perfectly.... at first i thought it was a prog fault. it was this morning that i checked fuses and the components at which i connected the xprog too.
Thankfully it was straight forward.
