hi all, done a few before no issues
removed ccm, read eeprom, put to tango, created 1 key, saved data, loaded that new file, created 2nd key, saved data
wrote new 2 key data back to ccm, and installed ccm,
car starts ONCE with key, immo active on dash, then wont start second time
battery disconect, same again, starts once, not twice
I checked TP's in TANGO with the latest file, and they read as KEY 1 and KEY 2
What could be the problem here, do ECU get locked on these sometimes?

I think CCM eeprom dump need to be fixed. Upload it and I'm sure someone will fix it for you. Maybe there was some difference in eeprom structure after your first reading.
Or created new dump, wan't written properly. What programmer did you use?

He said already that tango recognized the dump, so to teach you a little , if dump had a bad eeprom structure wouldnt be logical that tango then do not recognise the dump?!
In his case tango recognized the dump!
Also by second reading tango regonised the dump and added keys!
With your answers you are spamming the thread here but i belive you are in hope to catch some thnx [emoji28]
To the thread starter i would try to code the keys in with vcds again, since you already got the pin code and both transponder tango prepaired already with cs.

Because I had same situation after someone tried to program keys with FVDI
And all I had to do, was to write fixed eeprom to CCM and car started straight away on original key.
And this is not first situation when someone have problem after key programming by CCM dump. I done couple and never had issues with Tango so always wonder what causes these.

Yeah logically yes, that would be correct and exactly what I thought. However maybe 1 byte difference would not affect Tango in recognizing dump, im not sure. Anyway, higher chance that the final dump which he wrote to CCM might not been written correctly and it's worth to check. Pull CCM, read and compare with file created by Tango.

Try to program just 1 key
then if is OK copy the TP for the second key

Did you change the transponders into tp23 before you started?

Try to add keys by vcds and pin. The transponders are already precoded so You should be fine.
With vcds and pin you have 5-10 minutes delay with canal 25 immo after put pin.

I have done both ways in Circuit and disolder chip and never had problem.
I think Tango has BUG with last update for this.
There was a other member had same problem , So he wrote back originla dump,
Precode key with CS and program keys OBD with VCDS and all was good after that .So I suggest to OP to do this .

Nothing is easy in this game.
Tango is full of bugs and their forum/support is crap crap crap the author doesn't bother looking at your dumps.
However still better than Fly lols FX100 or whatever.
In these situations i would be prepared to buy decent TMPro license after selling a kidney or 2

Like I meantin above , write original dump back.
Put vback in car .
Unlock keys and precode them with CS .
Use VCDS and learn keys OBD. When you enter Pin you will have to wait 5 or 10 in before Adaptation Ch will become available .
Or if you have VVDI2 you can do it with it as well, Nice thing about VVDI2 it will pop up message when Adaptation Ch is available.
On VVDI2 go to Key learn-VW 4th generation then choose Passat CCM.

Told the same thing 7 days ago to this member via PM. Never got an answer back. So I guess he did not try my tip.
Since the car is still stuck.

If not solved yet.
Post the dump.
I guess someone here can edit.
At least done before, in such cases.
