Porsche Boxster 2.5 ECU

Hi all,

I have a 996.618.601.04 ECU on a Boxster 2.5 from 1998 with a read only 87PC110 eprom

I would like to know from wich date of manufacture this ECU model was fitted with a 28f eprom ?

Or if it's possible to change the eprom with a simple modofication on the circuit ? I don't find any datashhet for the 87CP110...


Another think, we have the backup of the eprom, but do we need something else to manage the immo part ?

If someone know another ref for compatible ECU...
