Mazda smartkey SKE13E01 SKE13E02 difference?

Hello, what is the difference between the smartkey SKE13E01 and SKE13E02? Because the letter E or D means Europe or the USA and numbers? Can SKE13E02 be programmed for Mazda before 2016?
