howzit - have this ford bantam the instrument cluster is totally dead when you start the vehicle no mileage display no needles moving only after a few seconds the display starts showing and a while later the needles starts moving and display fixes itself showing mileage on the lcd display - when you drive the car everything works 100% only to find that after a while all the needles starts shaking up and down

I opened the cluster can clearly see it was never before worked on when looking at the NEC mcu and soldering points .......:chuncky:
Any advice is there a possible fix for this issue

Had problems with the red needles one in the past. Try hot air on NEC pins. Has worked in the past but fix didn't last long and ultimately had to get another cluster.
