DVLA have updated their rules for qualification of a vehicle as 'Historic'
The main change seems to be that if the appearance is significantly changed then it can no longer be classed as historic.
It seems to me to be a deliberate attempt to stop people making those abominations that they call "cafe racers" which is a good thing though it means that all the real parts that are taken off a bike when making a cafe racer will disappear off the market so price of parts will increase significantly.
